All quiet on the chicken front last night....til about 2:30 when loud chirping woke me up...I was SURE they were in some kind of chicken trouble, so I got up to take a peep. They were all sleeping except one, who apparently wanted to party, cuz she was running around like crazy. I decided they were safe and went back to bed. This morning, they are all very mellow, just eating and sleeping and well, you know, they are chickens!

Hey now that you have had them in the house overnight, do you notice an odor? Sweet as they are I am wondering if they stink? how often are you suppose to change their bedding?
ReplyDeleteNo, there is no stink! It says to change the bedding once a week, but I will watch and change as soon as I think it needs it...the bedding is really cheap. My poor kitty doesn't know what to make of the chicks, she is so scared of them...LOL.
